Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: network-manager
I am using Ubuntu 8.04
Network-manager is version o.6.6-0ubuntu5
I was trying to connect to my (unsecured) network, but instead of connecting,
it just showed that it connected, and after about 30 seconds, and then returned
to the computer icon.
I have tried b43-fwcutter, which worked for about 5 days, then this started
happen. I then tried to uninstall b43-fwcutter and install ndiswrapper, then it
just shows connected at once, but no blue bars are showin (the signal strength
bars). Later again, the spinning icon showed up when connecting, bt still
couldn't connect.
