I had fiesty fawn on my Dell Inspiron earlier, and even then the sound
was not working. As I was on dual boot then, I didnt bother. I thought
with the updating to Heron, I would get back my sound, but it has not
happened. It would be nice if I could resolve this issue. I did the
sound troubleshooting and updated alsa drivers through apt-get. Am
reporting it here, in hope that something is possible. I have attached
the log file generated from a code given on the ubuntu community forum.
