** Description changed:
The Atheros wifi in my Acer 5051 notebook most of the time works like a
charm. Once in a while however, wireless networking isn't available from
nm-applet anymore. Rebooting once doesn't usually fix the problem. But
for some reason, most of the times it works after 4-5 reboots.
I had this same problem regularly over 6 months ago. Last six months
everything worked fine.. I guess that since my upgrade to Hardy the
problem started reappearing.
I noticed the following error in dmesg:
[ 52.964098] wifi%d: unable to attach hardware: 'Hardware revision not
supported' (HAL status 13)
lspci -vv:

+ According to the sticker on the notebook the wifi is 'Atheros AR5BMB5'.
+ Not sure whether this corresponds with the info lspci gives?
Please let me know what further info you guys need..
