Hi! I have a similar problem. I have a PDF that when previewed it shows correctly but when i print it, some images get replaced by a black box of the same size of the image.
If I print the PDF to PS and the I print the PS the problem persists. I attach a PDF page that shows this problem. It fails printing the image at slide 3 (row 2, column 1). I use KUbuntu 6.06, but i have no patches applied to it.
