At the time, that source package would not be correct because it was the firefox (meta)package that "lists mozilla-firefox-locale-en-gb 2.0.0.7+1-0ubuntu2 as a conflict". That, and in the description of the firefox package, it says,
>This is a meta package that will point to the latest firefox package in ubuntu. >Don't remove this if you want to receive automatic major version upgrades for >this package in the future. (Currently firefox-3, right?) The "bug"(apparently it's not, but it was a problem that needed to be addressed at the time by a package maintainer) was in the dependencies of either the firefox (meta)package, not the firefox-3 package, or the language-support-en (meta)package. The problem being either language support or the firefox (meta)package would have to be removed(which is not recommended in the description quoted above). But I guess it doesn't really matter anymore, since it has resolved itself somehow. -- Firefox meta and language-support-en conflict https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/192012 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
