Public bug reported:
The problem :
using the gnome console : gnome-terminal --geometry 95x30
with utf8 encoding
i cannot, as today, introduce the capitalized leter D,
as i have created more than one directory with this letter - in a past time -
as its first letter
i cannot do cd Directory because of that error, i cannot do cat README.
all i can do is cat REAME
The system :
if i use the panel menus, and go to System Preferences keyboard , i
am using a Dell Latitude D600, with its model keyboard installed.
there i can enter the letter D capitalized without any problem when
checking if keyboard works ok.
im using -es , spanish language locales
letter type in the terminal is set to : monospace 12

this may be not relevant because as i have quoted previously, i can introduce
the capitalized D in
other apps... like for example here.
is a problem with gnome-terminal i guess.
