I found the exact way to reproduce this problem under ubuntu gutsy, evolution
2.12.1
Can someone try to reproduce it in Hardy and confirmed it is closed?

Steps to reproduce :
1) in the contact book, create a fake user "aaa.aaa" (full name) with email
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
2) create a contact list "bug" (shift+ctrl+L)
3) type aaa in the entry field, look for user aaa.aaa with up/down arrows
4) select it by pressing "enter"
5) the user appears in the list like "aaa.aaa" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (note the
quotes)
6) click OK, look for the list "bug" in the contact list and open it again
7) The user doesn't appear correctly. It can be the string EMAIL or the string
REV or to the string <first name of the contact> (thus loosing full name and
email address)

The quotes around the full name only appear when there is a special character.
This problem only appears when there is a special character (dot, comma ...).
It seems that the user before the one with the problem also get wiped out.

When the full name is of the form firstname lastname there is no problem.
This bug make mailing list management barely usable for me as I have many
contacts with commas or dots in their full name.

Please find attached vCard export for this user with line FN:aaa.aaa. REV or
EMAIL are strings found inside the vCard...
Also a screenshot from the mailing list before and after inclusion of this
aaa.aaa user
