I have found the file causing problem.

It is .shape file (SVG) made by Dia. It is refering to a png from the same
directory : <icon>rackd.png</icon>
and to a openclipart file :
<svg .... xlink:href="/usr/share/openclipart/svg/computer/hardware/racked.svg"/>

In Icon mode, Nautilus can not generate the thumbnail from this file (the
thumbnail stays with the small clock that means generating thumbnail).
In List mode, Nautilus freeze.

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/tmp/old/test/test2$ ll
total 8
-rw-r--r-- 1 sebek sebek 403 2008-05-13 17:39 rackd.png
-rw-r--r-- 1 sebek sebek 390 2007-12-15 17:59 rackd.shape

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/tmp/old/test/test2$ ll
/usr/share/openclipart/svg/computer/hardware/racked.svg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 12466 2006-03-07 10:30
/usr/share/openclipart/svg/computer/hardware/racked.svg

If I export a file from Dia to shape, I don't have the same problem. I
can't remember how exactly I generated this shape file ...

Attached find the rackd.shape file with associated PNG.

Find also a GDB output (huge) with all symbols made on nautilus freezing
in a directory containing only the shape and PNG, no others files. As a
new nautilus is always respawning after a nautilus crash, I was not able
to send nautilus from command line and thus could not interrupt it by
ctrl+C. I interrupted it with signal 4 again. If it is a problem, please
tell me how to disable this nautilus respawning.
