According to Gnome bugtracker
(http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=518156), this is not a Gnome
but an Xorg problem. Another bug
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xkeyboard-config/+bug/194526)
has a proper package chosen, so I set this bug as a duplicate of that
one.
