Have the same problem in VMware Server Console 1.0.5 build-80187. It's a
new Hardy and VMware installation running Windows XP inside VMWare.
The problem occours after some time (few seconds) using the guest OS
inside VMWare Console.
To fix the problem I need to run setxkbmap every time it happens.
