There aren't any specific reproducible steps that I can think of. It doesn't happen right after I've interacted with the program. I generally listen to my entire library (~5500 songs) on shuffle, but this also has happened when listening to a playlist. Occasionally I will skip through a few songs in a row, but it doesn't happen right after I hit "Next" or anything.
My best guess from looking at the traceback is banshee is trying to write some data to its library (maybe last played time for a song?) at the same time as another write, or maybe some other function or write didn't give up the lock when it was supposed to. -- Banshee Encountered a Fatal Error: the database is locked https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/229616 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
