Just upgraded to 8.04 but same problem appeared in Gutsy Gibbon.
Running Core Duo
Screen resolution post upgrade set to 1600 x 1200 75Hz
I try to set to a lower resolution. The chnage doesn't happen and doesn't
happen after reboot either.
Also bottom dashboard is corrupted: filled with 25 identical bits of the
main screen. Same problem occurred in Gutsy Gibbon with 1600 x 1200
resolution so is it a driver issue?
