Hi I upgraded with
$ update-manager -c -d I left the computer running the update since my current internet connection is a bit slow. When I came back, the update-manager was not running. I've just reinstalled beta 2 from the live cd since the current status of my computer was unusable, but as I say before I tried, with no success, to get update logs. It's a strange case... maybe my internet connection failed during the download process and therefore the program couldn't log any information? After the reinstallation the system seems to be fine, the live installer didn't complaint about failsystem errors...
