When you boot with the 2.6.24-17 kernel, is it possible for you to ssh
into the machine from another system? If so, could you grab the dmesg
output and attach it to this bug report. Also, what type of keyboard do
you have? If possible, could you try unplugging and plugging it back in
to see if it helps? If you have another keyboard available, could you
try booting with that plugged in? Thanks.
