Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xorg

I have a Logitech UltraX Media Remote which was shipped with an USB Bluetooth
receiver dongle.
This H/W used to work fine until I upgraded to Hardy.

Now it simply does not work anymore. Before the upgrade used to work like a
keyboard: I pressed buttons on it
and I got chars printed to console, for example, the pause key was printing
'p', etc. This way it was easy to control
software by remapping the outputted chars with xmodmap. Now nothing comes up
and I cannot control MythTV
anymore with it :(

This is the patch that enabled this remote in the Linux kernel in 2006:

When I replug the USB dongle, dmesg says:

[190244.753262] input,hiddev96,hidraw4: USB HID v1.10 Device [Logitech
USB Receiver] on usb-0000:00:1d.2-1

So it detects something alright.

lsusb sees:

Bus 003 Device 006: ID 046d:c101 Logitech, Inc.

Any clue what's wrong here?
