I did a quick scan through the fedora 9 xserver rpm and didn't see the
shutdown patch, so my guess is that it did in fact make it upstream
(ajax is quite good at putting work into upstream).  So I'm 99% sure
we'll automatically pick up the fixes once we incorporate xserver 1.5 in
Intrepid, and can close this bug at that point.

I considered about backports too, but 1.3 seconds off shutdown is
probably not going to strike the SRU team as worth the risk.  But maybe
if the patches were quite trivial...  It would help to have pointers to
the actual patches.
