Just a newbie but with AB9 Pro SATA1 & 2 (HDD and DVD) i got the same error
like mentioned above.
But failures occour only for SATA Ports, where no devices are connected. Begins
with:
ata3.00: revalidation failed (errno=-5)
Kernel version was 2.6.24-12. Perhaps this helps, i will try
all_generic_ide.
