I find this bug as a duplicate for Bug #221737 or Bug #222761 In /etc/default/nut i changed this: # start upsd START_UPSD=yes ... # start upsmon START_UPSMON=yes and now it works.
Why is the default behavior set not to autostart? And I think it is very confusing to print "Startup OK" when the service does not start up during boot. But now I at least understand why this bug was marked as invalid.
