My internet connection is through Comcast. I tried 3 different things that you suggested Telnet comcast.net 25 it said trying 204.127.205.8 It would not finish then tried telnet mail.comcast.net 25 it said trying 206.18.177.80 and it would not finish then I used telnet smtp.comcast.net 25 It said "220 OMTA07.westchester.pa.mail.comcast.net comcast ESMTP server ready" Then is said "connection closed by foreign host"
