Public bug reported: Binary package hint: bluez-gnome
This is a wish-list request, from a Hardy user, bluez-gnome 0.25-0ubuntu1 On laptops without hardware bluetooth kill-switches (i.e. Apple products), an option to turn on and off Bluetooth in software would be nice to have (basically, take down hci0 and remove the bluetooth module). This can lead to significant power savings, and may be required for the use of laptops on board aircraft, etc. ** Affects: bluez-gnome (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- bluetooth-applet should have an option to turn off bluetooth https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231461 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
