Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: ipe
On my computer, the ubuntu version of ipe 6.0pre30-2ubuntu1 (I have
installed a patched version now) has basically unusable file dialogs. If
in a directory with a file "fsck.xml", hitting "f" opens the filename
completion and when then I hit "s", it somehow goes to the main window,
switching to selection mode. To type the "s" in the filename field, it
is necessary to close the completion popup first.
I do not know why, but on debian unstable, ipe 6.0pre30-2 does not have
this problem, although, according to the ubuntu changelog, the patches
are almost the same. Maybe it is also related to the qt version (4.4 on
debian, 4.3 on hardy)?
The attached patch fixes the filedialog problem for me.
