And the same for a VAIO VGN-SZ330P. The problem seems to be (at least for me) related to the fact that I have WDS set up with a master and a relay base station. When I use one base station (an Apple Airport Express) not configured for WDS I can connect. Add another base station and the laptop won't connect, regardless of encryption. All the other machines on my network (Macs and Windows XP boxes) connect without a problem.
