I don't understand -QUOTE "open, Audio Manager,". This problem is the same for me in Hardy. I'd like a visual confirmation sometimes when I adjust my hifi - the knobs have some dust problems and I'd like to be able to get visual feedback to help troubleshooting. i.e. visually confirm output when I adjust balance on the hifi.
