Public bug reported:
The Quickcam Chat doesn't work properly. When I plugg in the cam the console
says:
046d:08da Logitech, Inc. QuickCam Messanger ?? Why Messanger?
And dmesg:
[ 140.777441] usb 6-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2
[ 140.978126] usb 6-1: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice

gspca driver 01.00.20 registered
[ 142.605741] usbcore: registered new interface driver snd-usb-audio
But the Cam doesn't work. Camorama crashes without an error message and the
other programms like Ekiga say: unable to capture immage. Skype says that an
camera is recognised, but when I click on the test button, the screen is still
dark.
With Gusty Gibbon the cam worked perfectly, but with Hardy not.
I think the problem is in the driver or the kernel.
