It looks like this is a problem only for upgrading users. It is a
problem with improper cleanup/linking of the iptables program. this will
need to be fixed in the package to properly clean up all old files
and/or install new files. See below:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Desktop/iptables-1.3.8$ /sbin/iptables --version
iptables v1.3.8
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/Desktop/iptables-1.3.8$ /usr/sbin/iptables --version
iptables v1.3.6
