Sorry, it's a very complicated user situation. Starting up firefox with my usual tabs open: one to my local home page on my machine, one cnn.com, one slashdot.org, one bbc (http://news.bbc.co.uk/), one facebook (http://www.facebook.com/home.php), one gmail, one yahoo (http://us.f366.mail.yahoo.com/ym/ShowFolder?YY=72351&y5beta=yes&y5beta=yes&inc=25&order=down&sort=date&pos=0&view=a&head=b&box=Inbox) and probably one or two more for some shopping I was doing. I *have* had cases in recent months where I had a bad tab which killed the browser until I started it without tabs, but perhaps not this exact version. In this case, restarting worked OK. If the core dump doesn't give you want you need, I'm afraid we're out of luck.
