Ok, I have made some progress on this situation.

If I go into the b.i.o.s., there is a section for "On-Chip ATA Devices" and 4
options for "On-Chip SATA Type":
Native IDE
RAID
Legacy IDE
AHCI
Native IDE was on by default. If i change that to Legacy IDE I can boot to
Hardy and it recognizes both of my SATA drives. I can install and do. Then when
i restart during the b.i.o.s. load I get an error saying "4th Master Hard Disk
Error". That is my Seagate drive. When I get to the GRUB screen, I can choose
the newly installed Hardy, but it will not load. (I have Hardy loaded on the
Seagate drive).
