Binary package hint: bootchart
bootchart regenerates the initramfs after its installation from teh postinst
script. it does this apparently only for the first kernel it finds.
in my case i had linux-image-2.6.24-16-generic as well as
linux-image-2.6.24-17-generic installed, with obviously using the latter
version a default, only the initramfs for 2.6.24-16 was regenerated so it
produces no chart for the actively used kernel
