Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
When an sftp network share is mounted the places icon in nautilus defaults to
root (as does the mount icon on the desktop).
IMO, the nautilus places icon should default to the original path and not root.
This is a regression and could lead an inexperienced user to
inadvertently corrupt or modify root with catastrophic consequences.
Linux ** 2.6.24-17-generic #1 SMP Thu May 1 13:57:17 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux
The bug occurs in all 386 and x64 Hardy 8.04.
** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
