Actually, my problems were on the same server, Erik. They switched the
server(-address) from ctwex2.ctw.utwente.nl to the xs.utwente.nl about
two months ago, and from that moment on I've been having problems.
Although earlier this month, I could download some of these .pdf and
.doc attachments just fine again. It seems like mail send from inside
the university has the corrupt attachments, but those from outside are
just fine. So this might not be a Thunderbird problem, but a
new&improved setting on our Exchange server.
