i can confirm that in a fresh hardy install (thus using pulse audio) rhythmbox stops to play music for an instant when i minimize or maximize ANY window. i cannot confirm however, that having load produces the same error. on the contrary, if i produce load (running 3 instances of glxgears), the original problem seems to disappear...
