I experience the same weirdness also in Kubuntu Hardy, with the omnibook module and hotkey-setup 0.1-17ubuntu21.
** Description changed: Binary package hint: hotkey-setup I don't know why, but the special key to supposed to launch the internet browser does not work on my Toshiba Satellite M70-249 (as it is the only one, I think it is not too bad at the end ;).
