The 8.04 Hardy Heron release of Ubuntu is out currently. Could you
please test with this latest release and verify if you can still
reproduce this issue. You can download and try the new version of
Ubuntu from http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download. Please report
back your results. We'll keep this open against the actively developed
kernel but against 2.6.22 this will be closed as it does not qualify for
a Stable Release Update - https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates.
