I would agree it's a duplicate since this is an issue with the CPU. I
have the same machine with a T7500 CPU (Hardy 32bit up-to-date) and I
have no problems at all with CPU freq scaling or fan control, which
seems to indicate that it's not a ACPI issue. Marking as duplicate. Feel
free to re-open if you really think its a m1330-specific issue.
