I am not sure which application to blaim for what is happening, but here
are the steps i've taken:
I have created subtitles using subtitle editor, checking for errors shows that
there are no errors like overlapping subtitles, although some of the lines
appear to be too long.
Attempting to play these subtitles stops at the 9th subtitle and then resumes
at 17th. I have tried to change the way subtitles are written, rewording them,
etc. But the problem remains.
I am using VLC to play the subtitle (Movie Player shows no subtitles at all)
Subtitle Editor: 0.20.0
VLC media player: 0.8.6e Janus (wxWidgets interface)
I am attaching the subtitle, it's in russian in UTF-8 encoding.
