Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: xfce4-cpu-freq-plugin
Release: Ubuntu 8.04
Package: xfce4-cpu-freq-plugin-0.0.1-0ubuntu2
The "Properties" dialog of XFCE4 CPU frequency plugin allows to check
"Show CPU icon" but even after doing so, no icon is displayed. However,
the two other options which allow to display CPU frequency and CPU
governor do work as expected.
Side issues:
- text size of frequency is too small and cannot be adjusted,
- no localization [system default language is German but all text is in
English],
- package does not identify itself properly [no "About" dialog reporting
package version or exact name which leads to confusion with respect to the
alternative package xfce4-cpufreq-plugin when both are installed simultaneously.
** Affects: xfce4-cpu-freq-plugin (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
