John, sorry for the confusion, I meant my comment after the one you quoted. The issue is indeed still present in thunderbird 2.0.0.14.
The issue is the following (steps to reproduce): 1.) Open preferences and switch to a "tab" which content is not high like "Privacy" or "Atachments" 2.) Close preferences and re-open it again, see that it opens showing the same tab you switched to earlier but with resized height (in this case: decreased height). 3.)
