Binary package hint: nautilus
Plugging in a USB Flash Disk or USB External Hard disk - device never
shows up in "computer" or anywhere. Only shows up if I boot. Following
documentation instructions I am to look at System/Preferences/Removable
Drives and Media, but the option for USB storage devices is not present.
Ubuntu 8.04, clean installation. I will also note that removal of USB
Flash Disk without dismounting it appears to hang computer requiring
power off...
