you can enable it by adding Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" to your device section. the ubuntu version was edgy. I am sure this is not a duplicate of 34435. you can imagine this as the trail which you get if you move a window above another under heavy load(yay for slow gtk redraw) except that this one is permanent and white. but the bug is partially gone now; the desktop is being redrawn now again, but it uses 100% of cpu now, while moving the same window over another maximised nautilus window only uses ~15%.
