Public bug reported: (under ubuntu gutsy, libcairo2 1.4.10-1ubuntu4.4, )
When displaying a svg, nautilus crash. Same behaviour if I try with gthumb. When trying to obtain a backtrace, I get : Program received signal SIGFPE, Arithmetic exception. [Switching to Thread -1240904816 (LWP 8459)] 0xb7661b3d in ?? () from /usr/lib/libcairo.so.2 I would like to install libcairo2-dbgsym in order to provide a explicit backtrace as explained in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash However, I can not install libcairo2-dbgsym : $ sudo apt-get install libcairo2-dbgsym Les paquets suivants contiennent des dépendances non satisfaites : libcairo2-dbgsym: Dépend: libcairo2 (= 1.4.10-1ubuntu4) mais 1.4.10-1ubuntu4.4 devra être installé How can I fix this? Can I report a bug to ddeb repository? Is it safe to force install? The smoking gun is attached below. ** Affects: cairo (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- A svg file make libcairo crash (nautilus, gthumb) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/234781 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
