Robin, the xml that you have attached is equal i using, but i cant manage that VM with virt-manager GUI.
By the way, i see in logs generated by virt-manager and get this command: /usr/bin/kvm -M pc -m 128 -smp 1 -monitor pty -localtime -no-acpi -drive file=/dev/lvm/winxp-sp2-a,if=ide,boot=on -net nic,macaddr=00:16:3e:2a:22:da,vlan=0 -net tap,fd=12,script=,vlan=0 -usb -vnc 127.0.0.1:0 If i remove the parameter "-no-acpi" the VM starts fine! I don't know where virt-manager generate this command line, and i think if that parameter can be "removed" or configurable the virt-manger could works normally. -- Cannot create Windows VM using virsh or virt-manager with KVM https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/231878 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
