I have the same issue with mplayer on edgy.
But as it works with vlc (even without avisynth.dll), I don't think it will be
useful to add this file to w32codecs packages.
As this stream seems to be a wma file, it might be a bug of mplayer or
ffmpeg. I suscribe the MOTU Media Team, perhaps can they do something...
