apart from comment #12 I don't see how this report is related to
wpasupplicant. I'm therefore invalidating this bugtask for now until
additional indication is provided what could be done in wpasupplicant
about this.
TBH, I believe this is a kernel issue. You might want to consider taking
this to the ubuntu kernel team.
