I can confirm the bug (AMD Brisbane based system with Internet via WLAN PCI card) and it is reproducible (dedicated install on second machine, Pentium PIII with Ethernet connection to Internet). In my case the tunnel uses a TAP device. Again, the device is created and the VPN actually works, although without DNS. I've noticed that /ect/resolve.conf had not been updated properly, which explains why the DNS is not working. DNS push is enabled in the server. Maybe a permission problem? I remembr a similar bug circulated for Feisty.
