Public bug reported:
Please consider adding high resolution modes (like 1440 x 900) that are
being used on the new WIDESCREEN lcd monitors to the choice selections
listed in StartupManager program for the usplash display properties, so
that I do not get this annoying "NOT OPTIMUM MODE" message covering up
the Ubuntu logo during both bootup and restarts and/or shutdowns of my
computer.
