I was able to verify this fix. Yesterday, I installed the version
1.0.0.rc14-0ubuntu3 and experienced the same problem as described.
I changed my synaptic config to include hardy-proposed and installed
dmraid version
# apt-cache policy dmraid
dmraid:
Installed: 1.0.0.rc14-0ubuntu3.1
Candidate: 1.0.0.rc14-0ubuntu3.1
Version table:
*** 1.0.0.rc14-0ubuntu3.1 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-proposed/universe Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
1.0.0.rc14-0ubuntu3 0
500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages
Listing the contents of /dev/mapper:
# ls /dev/mapper
control jmicron_GRAID
Thanks.
