I am the maintainer of gcin, both for Ubuntu and Debian.
Intrepid currently has 1.3.7.1-0ubuntu1, and the only Ubuntu change is
preventing FTBFS when "dash provides as sh". Upstream has fixed this
bashism, and 1.4.0-1 can be builded smoothly under intrepid.
I have tested it without problem.
Please sync gcin from Debian, thank you.
