Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox
If you upload a music file to an Ipod twice, the file is copied and then two copies of the same file coexist on the Ipod. It would be really nice if Rhythmbox would look for a file with the same name before transferring a file (i am not referring to the ID3 tags, I think the file name would be enough). A quick check would prevent duplicate entries from being created. Finally, the user would be asked if he wants to update the file or cancel the transfer... Thanks to all !
