Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.24
Hello ! I experience a strange annoyance with my Intel Pro 4965 WiFi chip on Hardy. When I connect (at work) to a 802.11g WiFi router everything works fine. But when I connect (at home) to my good old 802.11b WiFi switch, the troughput never get higher than 100kBps, and often painfully stays below 70 kBps. The switch is perfectly fine, I get more than 650 kBps from it (from the ADSL) from various other PCs with either Windows and Linux installed. The annoyance is clearly manageable but still, I would greatly appreciate any help with this ! I'm following the guidelines here https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingHardwareDetection but if someone needs more info, I'll be happy to oblige. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [ Wifi card Intel Pro 4965 ] throughput < 100 kBps on 802.11b network https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236212 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
