Public bug reported:
I cannot start Ubuntu 7.10 or 8.04 on my desktop.
E-Machines T2682
Intel Graphics card 82845G
256 Ram
60GB Hard Drive
I get to brown screen and nothing. I do not get a chance to log in or enter
username and password. I have tried CTL + ALT+ Backspace and then a username
pops up. I try to make one up and then nothing says it is invalid. I try to run
from CD as to not make any changes to my pc until I understand Ubuntu. Thanks.
